Along with 17 other states, my office is attacking Obamacare with a groundbreaking lawsuit.

Not only is the so-called “Affordable” Care Act unconstitutional, it’s not even affordable.

Obamacare is unlawfully forcing Texans to pay more and more for healthcare. [HELP ME FIGHT IT HERE]

In fact… in states where the federal government administers health exchanges (including Texas), health insurance premiums rose an average of 105 percent from 2013 to 2017.

At the end of the day, it’s unconstitutional. That’s why we’ve been locked in a months-long lawsuit to stop it.

Here’s my interview with FOX explaining the latest court battle…

On Tuesday, July 9, a team of attorneys from my office demonstrated that Obamacare is unconstitutional in its entirety and urged the Fifth Circuit to uphold an earlier ruling that said the same thing.

Our 18-state coalition argued that when Congress repealed the tax penalty associated with the individual mandate as part of the 2017 tax overhaul, it rendered the individual mandate unconstitutional – and with it the entire law.

After initially defending the law at the District Court, the Trump Administration decided not to fight our lawsuit on appeal (the President understands that Obamacare is wrong). So California and other liberal states picked up the defense of Obamacare in our lawsuit. They’re trying to force the ACA on us.
